On June 3 and 4, 2025, World BASC Organization (WBO) held the second in-person session of its Technical Committee at the Torre BASC building, offices of the BASC Bogotá chapter. This meeting is part of the Committee’s annual work schedule, whose efforts ensure the ongoing update of the BASC Norm and International Standards, as well as the technical documents that support the BASC Control and Security Management System (CSMS).
During the session, strategic topics were discussed to strengthen technical guidelines in response to emerging challenges in international trade and advancements in compliance and risk management. The meeting followed the 2025 Work Plan of the Committee, developed collaboratively with input and feedback gathered from BASC Chapters earlier this year. The active and collaborative participation of Committee members helped drive key proposals to continue positioning the BASC model as a regional benchmark in supply chain security.
World BASC Organization extends special thanks to BASC Bogotá for their warm hospitality and support in facilitating the successful development of this meeting. Their institutional commitment and generosity reflect the spirit of collaboration that defines the BASC community worldwide.
